The Theatre Arts Education Program offers varying opportunities throughout the year for students to learn different aspects of theater in their own backyard. Theatre Lighting Design Workshop

We are pleased to offer an introductory Theatre Lighting Operation/Design Workshop for local high school students. This workshop is FREE thanks to a grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. Students who take the class will get:
- free training by an industry professional
- learn basic board operation & intro to design
- hands-on time on a new light board
- training may lead to employment
- additional training opportunity at The Playhouse
