The Theatre Arts Education Program offers varying opportunities throughout the year for students to learn different aspects of theater in their own backyard. We are expanding this program every year, thanks to the energy and dedication of our students, parents, and staff. Please visit this page regularly for updates on upcoming events.
Upcoming Theatre Arts Education Opportunities
Wizard of Oz
September 26-October 1
Go from auditions to performance in just five days with Compass Creative Dramatics, a Chicago-based touring theatre who will be hosting a week-long theatre residency at the Howmet Playhouse sponsored by the Arts Council of White Lake.
Students in grades 1st through 6th will stretch their creativity and bravery muscles through daily rehearsals for The Wizard of Oz. Students also perform alongside two professional actors during the week!
No acting experience necessary—just come ready to be silly and have fun!
